Abstract
This book is developed on the basis of a research on how to build good characters through reading joyful stories among Elementary school students. This book consists of 160 joyful stories appropriate for the 3rd, the 4th, the 5th, and the 6th graders. The stories were developed based on some Islamic valued-characters i.e. discipline, hardworking, independence,honesty, and tolerance with the hope that children are able to take some moral values reflected within the stories. Then this book is meaningful for both parents and teachers who want to build good character and establish good habit of reading for their children.
