Abstract

ABSTRACT Nationalism Thesis According to Indonesian Mufti’s Thought Interpretation (Tafsir) Study of Marah Labid by Nawawi Al Bantani Written by Muhammad Wifqi Asy’ari. NIM 1731143063. Supervisor: Ahmad Muhdhor. LC. M.Pd.I Nationalism is a commitment action which each citizen must have it in their countries or nations although the state’s systems in their own country are not always the same. Nationalism of Indonesian mufti’s thought was born since colonization era.in this study, the researcher focuses on the Nationalism thought according to Indonesian mufti which is Interpretation (Tafsir) Marah Labid by Nawawi Al Bantani. As Indomesia country, we know that Nationalism is practiced by many social and religious figures which it has explained by each value of Pancasila. In this case, Pancasila is formed by Soekarno or the first president’s wisdom. Besides, he was mostly guided by some Indonesian’s mufti. Pancasila consists of several values inside. Those are: The value of the God, the value of humanity, the value of unity, the value of citizenship and deliberation, and the value of social justice. Nawawi Al Bantani is one of nationalism mufti who is independence fighter of colonialism in Indonesia. He has born many colonialism fighters in Indonesia such as KH. Hasyim Asyari and KH. Ahmad Dahlan. Based on the phenomenon mentioned before, Nawawi Al Bantani has the big role in the case of character establishment about the importance of Nationalism which is applied to the students. This study focuses on the some main problems. Those are :1. What does nationalism mean?. 2. How is Nawawi Al Bantani thought in the interpretation (Tafsir) Marah Labid Fi Kasy Ma’na Quran Majid about the nationalism?. The result of this study is the nationalism explanations from several world nationalism figures such as Hans Kohn, Louis Snyder, and Ernest Renan. As for the nationalism explanation according to the world nationalism figures said that the nationalism means “The loyalty to a nation and state by putting the interest of the nation and state rather than the individuals or groups interests which are actualized by establishing the integrity of the people in the political unity. Furthermore, the discussion about the nationalism values which are consisted of the interpretation Marah Labid fil Kasyf Ma’na Qur’an Majid is the result of scientific studies from Nawawi Al Bantani. As for the action of movements practice are mostly continued by his students such as KH. Hasyim Asy’ari who becomes one of Soekarno’s references when Pancasila is formed. In this case, the values of Pancasila are recognized as the first source of nationalism scientist reference in the world. Moreover, the interpretation of nationalism in the Tafsir Marah Labid Fil Kasy Ma’na Quran Majid is directed to several serves in Quran, such as QS. Al Hujurat (13), Al Baqarah (143), Saba’ (15), and Al Hujurat (9.
