Keywords:Teacher Practices, Speaking Skiils When learning a foreign language, mastering speaking skills is considered the primary task of language learners. It becomes a measure to determine someone's mastery of the language. Since there is no single magic formula for successful foreign language learning, it is important for teachers to develop some strategies in teaching speaking. Teachers should know how to effectively practice teaching speaking. The existence of appropriate materials and media, and the teaching skills and activities provided should be expressed in the form of behaviors that improve students' speaking ability in and out of class. Therefore, it encourages researchers to conduct research on teachers' practice of teaching speaking English at MA. Syekh Abdul Qodir Al-Jailani. Because the students in this school have good results in speaking English. The general problem of this study “What kind of creativity do the teachers employ to support students’ in developing speaking skills of MA. Syekh Abdul Qodir Al-Jailani?” “How can the students participate on developing dpeaking skills better ?” The overall goal of this research is to describe teachers’ practice in teaching speaking at MA. Syekh Abdul Qodir Al-Jailani. Then, the purpose can be specifically expressed as: to describe the practice of teaching speaking at MA. Syekh Abdul Qodir Al-Jailani. The research design of this study is a descriptive design and a qualitative method. Data source of this research were English teacher of MA. Syekh Abdul Qodir Al-Jailani, the students of MA. Syekh Abdul Qodir Al-Jailani. The data of this study are obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, field records and literature materials. Then, use the interactive analysis method of Miles and Huberman to analyze the data, including data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. In order to check the credibility of the data, the researchers used data sources and methodological triangulation in this study. In the use of data source triangulation, researchers collect data from multiple sources to check the validity of the data. At the same time, researchers also use a variety of methods to collect data. The result of this study is that the researchers found that there are some practices of teaching speaking in MA. Syekh Abdul Qodir Al-Jailani. In order to promote this teaching and learning process, teachers use textbook materials that are compatible with the curriculum set by the government. In providing this material, it is also supported by appropriate and up-to-date additional materials and media. In addition, when teaching, the teacher adopts some skills, such as teaching in English as the main language, giving equal attention to fluency and accuracy, giving feedback and corrections, and always giving mottos to encourage students to practice English. Discussions and presentations and role-playing activities are commonly used in teaching speaking at MA. Syekh Abdul Qodir AlJailani. In addition, when assessing students’ speaking skills, teachers use oral assessment based on students’ speaking performance and use speaking scoring standards for assessment.
