Abstract
ABSTRACT Thesis with the title "The Learning Strategies Improving Student Achievement in Mathematics (Multi Case Study in SDIT Al-Badr Ploso and MI Roudlotut Tholabah Mojo Kediri)" is written by Nur Rohman with guided: Dr. Ahkyak, M.Ag, and Dr. Eni Setyowati, M.M. Key Words: Strategy, mathematics, student achievement. Learning strategy is one important dimension of learning activities. In order to maximize student achievement in mathematics, required an appropriate learning strategies. Therefore, the study of learning strategy and its implementation is an important need to do. Efforts to improve the learning of mathematics lies in the improvement of the learning process is classified into organizing strategy (organization strategy), strategy delivery (Delivery strategy), and strategy management (Management strategy). Organizing strategy refers to an action such as selection of content, the content structuring, and manufacturing diagrams, and other formats. Delivery strategy is a method for delivering instruction to students and or to receive input from students. Management strategy is a method for managing the interaction between students with variables other methods. The common problem of this research is the study of mathematics delivery strategies to improve student achievement in SDIT Al-Badr Ploso and MI Roudlotut Tholabah Mojo Kediri. Specifically, this study focused on three things: (1) How does the design of instructional delivery strategy math?, (2) How is the application of mathematics instructional delivery strategy ?, (3) How do the results of the application of mathematics instructional delivery strategy ?. This research used a qualitative approach to the design of multi phenomenological case. In accordance with this approach, this study used two kinds of analysis is the analysis of the individual case and inter-case analysis. Data analasis since or simultaneously with data collection. The data analysis was conducted on the activities of (1) the preparation of exposure data about the typology of schools in each case study, (2) analyzing the data from each case study based on observation, interview and documentation for each focal issue, (3) analyze and discuss and classify the data of each case, (4) discusses the findings are at each site. The results showed: (1) The design of the delivery strategy math learning made by teachers use planning is the preparation of instructional media and forms of learning that is based on the goal. In selecting instructional media, basically the principle used is the teacher effectiveness in achieving the learning objectives. In addition principle in the selection of media is interactivity and flexibility. The draft form of classroom teachers is designed to create the conditions for effective learning. (2) the delivery of applied learning strategies by teachers to improve student achievement is the way: the use of learning media in the form of a flat wake example with mendemotrasikan to students in front of the class, form a group of classical learning and group. In addition, teachers also use a variety of methods in learning activities such as lectures and discussion methods. (3) The application of mathematics learning delivery strategy implemented by the class teacher from each of the research sites to fruition. The average value per grade math lesson shows above the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) subjects of math class one and two. Thus instructional delivery strategy can be used as an effort to improve student achievement in mathematics.
