Abstract

Best dynamic archive management will provide convenience in doing retrieval when archives that have been stored are needed again. With speed and accuracy in searching archives, it can support work professionalism. The purpose of this research is to find out how to manage dynamic archives, the obstacles and efforts to overcome these obstacles in the Field of Archives. By using the descriptive method, the author will provide an overview of dynamic archive management starting from creation to archive shrinkage. Collecting data by observation, interviews, documentation and literature review. The data set is then reduced, presented and conclusions drawn. The validity of the data was obtained by using triangulation techniques, collecting data with different techniques by means of repeated observations. The result of the research is that the archive processor in this field is not an archivist. The key to dynamic archive management is persistence and thoroughness. Obstacles in the field of archiving management are the lack of archival human resources, minimal facilities and infrastructure and at least a budget from the local government. With the effort that can be done is to increase the human resources of the archives. Keywords: archive, dynamic, professionalism
