Keywords: Liberal Feminism, Main Character, Little Women Novel. Liberal feminism is a feminist movement that focused on individual freedom for women in political, economic, education, and social spheres. It can also call as the first feminist movement. In this study, the novel Little Women by Louisa May Alcott was chosen because this novel tells the story of Josephine March as the main character. This novel is interesting to analyze because it reflects the struggle of a woman during the American civil war. As the main character, Jo March faces many problems in her life and she reflects the values of liberal feminism. With all the abilities she has, she can overcome all problems and can achieve happiness in her life: a famous writer. This study contains three problems formulation that will be analyzed as follows: (1) What are the values of liberal feminism experienced by the main character in the Little Women novel? (2) What are the reasons of the main character experienced liberal feminism in the Little Women novel? (3) What is the implication of liberal feminism in the main character in the Little Women novel in education?. This research aims to find the values of liberal feminism experienced by the main character in the Little Women novel, to explain the reasons of the main character experienced liberal feminism in the Little Women novel, and to reveal the implication of liberal feminism in the main character in the Little Women novel in education. In this study, the author used library studies to answer all problem formulations. There are two kinds of sources used in this research. The main source is obtained from the Little Women novel. The second source is obtained from books and thesis related to the study. Based on the analysis, the results of this study were obtained as follows: (1) The writer can conclude that the values of liberal feminism experienced by Jo March are equality in the economic field, inequality in education, and equal rights (Being an Androgynous Person). (2) The reasons of the main character experienced liberal feminism. There are several reasons why Jo March experienced liberal feminism; the impact of the civil war that occurred in America made Jo March have to work to fulfill her needs and her family. She also experienced inequality in the field of education because at that time education for women was limited. She also got equal rights; being an androgynous person. (3) The implication of liberal feminism in the main character in education.
