Abstract
Thesis entitled by “The function of Radio Media in Islamic Educational Broadcasting (Multi-Site Study at PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung and PT. Radio ADS (Arena Duta Suara) FM Trenggalek)" written by IVA SAFTIARNA guided by Dr. As’aril Muhajir, M. Ag and Dr. H. Zen Amirudin, M.Si. Keywords : Radio Media, Islamic Educational Broadcasting The context of the research in this thesis is the Islamic education can take place not only through formal institutions, such as schools, but also in non-formal institutions. The intent of the author of the non-formal institutions of mass media here is radio media. Radio media is easy, inexpensive and can be heard anywhere, by the general community or community of learners. Via broadcasting Islamic education in radio media is expected to make people have a moral and good manners. Its morals and good behavior will be able to add their interest to continuing seek knowledge, although it does not through formal education in general. The function of non-formal Islamic education is to form a society that devoted to Allah SWT. The focus of research in this thesis is : 1. What programs are broadcast for Islamic education by PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung and PT. Radio ADS FM Trenggalek? 2. How format the broadcast delivery of Islamic education in PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung and PT. Radio ADS FM Trenggalek so well conveyed to the listener? 3. How the process of delivering the Islamic Educational Broadcasting in PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung and PT. Radio ADS FM Trenggalek so well conveyed to the listener? The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) Islamic educational broadcasting program in PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung and PT. Radio ADS FM Trenggalek. (2) Broadcast delivery formats of Islamic education in PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung and PT. Radio ADS FM Trenggalek so well conveyed to the listener. (3) The process of delivering broadcasting Islamic religious education in PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung and PT. Radio ADS FM Trenggalek so well conveyed to the listener. Research methods in this thesis use a multi-site qualitative approach, the location of research in PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung and PT. Radio ADS FM Trenggalek. Data source consists of informants, events, locations, and documents. data collection techniques with a participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis used two ways: (1) Single-site data analysis, and (2) Cross-site analysis. then, checks the validity of the data using triangulation, extension research, and peer discussion. The results of this thesis are: there are two broadcasting programs in PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung, namely: Daily programs and special programs / weekly. And there are three programs in PT. Radio ADS FM Trenggalek, namely: daily program, weekly program and special weeks. (2) Islamic educational broadcasting format in PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung is five: format description, aerial magazine format, featuer format, the format of documentary and theatrical sound format. Then, in the PT. Radio ADS FM Trenggalek are four: format description, aerial magazine format, format featuer and documentary formats. (3) Islamic educational Broadcasting process in PT. Radio Samara FM Tulungagung are five stages: a. Input (Provision of broadcast material), b. Planning (Planning broadcasting), c. Producing (Production broadcasts), d. Broadcasting, e. Evaluating (Evaluation broadcast), and in PT ADS FM Trenggalek are three processes: on air, off air and OP.
