Abstract

The high number of Covid-19 in Madiun Regency has an impact on strict health protocols, making the families of Covid-19 victims unable to carry out the process of managing bodies directly. Families are required to self-isolate at home, while victims will be treated by health workers. This feeling of sadness and loss is a form of negative emotion if the individual is not able to regulate his emotions, and can have a negative impact on daily life. A good form of emotional regulation is that individuals accept everything that happens and are confident in their abilities, so that individuals can have good self-acceptance by accepting their weaknesses or strengths, and accept sincerely for something that happens. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there is an influence of emotional regulation on the self-acceptance of the families of COVID-19 victims in Madiun Regency. The method used is quantitative, the population in this study amounted to 232 families of victims who died due to covid-19, it can be known based on the respondent's criteria. Sampling by random sampling, get a sample of 144 respondents. Data analysis technique using simple linear regression test, the results of this study indicate that the value of the simple linear regression coefficient T count is 16,053, with a significance of 0.000 less than 0.005, namely there is a significant influence between emotional regulation and self-acceptance, and it is known that the correlation value of R is 0.803 with the coefficient R Square 0.645 so that the effect of self-acceptance on emotion regulation is 64.5%. Keywords: Emotion Regulation, Self Acceptance, Victim's Family.   Tingginya angka covid-19 di Kabupaten Madiun berdampak pada ketatnya protokol kesehatan, menjadikan keluarga korban covid-19 tidak dapat melaksanakan proses pengurusan jenazah secara langsung. Keluarga diharuskan melakukan isolasi mandiri di rumah, sedangkan korban akan ditangani oleh petugas kesehatan. Perasaan sedih dan merasa kehilangan ini adalah bentuk emosi negatif jika individu tidak mampu meregulasi emosinya, dan dapat berdampak buruk bagi kelangsungan hidup sehari-hari. Adapun bentuk regulasi emosi yang baik adalah dengan individu menerima semua yang terjadi dan yakin terhadap kemampuan yang dimiliki, sehingga individu dapat memiliki penerimaan diri yang baik dengan menerima kekurangan atau kelebihan dirinya, dan menerima secara ikhlas atas sesuatu yang terjadi. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh regulasi emosi terhadap penerimaan diri keluarga korban covid-19 di Kabupaten Madiun. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif, populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 232 keluarga korban yang meninggal karena covid-19, dapat diketahui berdasarkan kriteria responden. Pengambilan sampel dengan random sampling, mendapatkan hasil sampel 144 responden. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien regresi linier sederhana T hitung sebesar 16,053, dengan signifikansi 0,000 kurang dari 0,005 yaitu terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara regulasi emosi dengan penerimaan diri, dan diketahui nilai korelasi R 0,803 dengan koefisien R Square 0,645 sehingga pengaruh penerimaan diri terhadap regulasi emosi sebesar 64,5%.
