Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the application of outcome-based education in building student character values during the Covid-19 pandemic. Outcome-based education provides major reforms to current concepts of teaching and learning amidst technological advances. This study used descriptive qualitative research with the literature method. Data was collected from articles that have been taken from journals published from the 2015-2021 years. The data analysis technique used data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study concluded that the role of technology in the implementation of outcome-based education in the Covid-19 era was designed in the concept of online teaching. The teacher prepares materials and assessments in accordance with online concepts. Teaching and learning is also done through video calls to create communicative concepts. Thus, every student's attitude and behavior during online learning creates good habits that lead to good character building such as discipline, honesty, creativity, hard work, love of reading and curiosity.
