Listening is among the most crucial and possibly the most challenging skills to lesson to learners in which English is foreign language. The students will find it easier to understand the material with learning media that are fun and not boring. As a result, using a particular medium to teach listening is essential. Among the media that may be utilised to assist learners increase their listening achievement is Busuu application. The biggest social platform for learning language in the world, Busuu offers 12 language courses on the internet and on smart phones. Furthermore, the use of the busuu application is expected to increase students listening achievement. The formulation of the research problem was “Is there any significant difference scores between students’ listening achievement with and without taught by using Busuu application at MTs Al Huda Bandung?” Based on the formulation of the problem, the purpose of this study was: to determine that whether there is a significant difference scores between students’ listening achievement with and without taught by using Busuu application at MTs Al Huda Bandung. This study used quantitative approach with quasi experimental two groups post-test design. The population of the study was all the eighth graders at MTs Al Huda Bandung. The sample of this study were VIII A and VIII B classes, each consisted of 18 students.The sample was selected by purposive sampling. Moreover, the instrument employed in this research was listening test. The data gathered by means of posttest from experimental and control groups were analysed using Independent Samples T-test in SPSS 16.0. The results indicated a significant difference between the post-test results of the experimental group and the control group. The average post-test score of the experimental class (77.56) was higher than the post-test average of the control class (67.78). This indicated that there was an increasing scores on students listening achievement. According to statistical calculation, the T-test revealed that the Sig.value was 0.000. It was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). This indicated that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Furthermore, it could be established that there was a significant difference between the experimental group (using Busuu application) and the control group (using conventional learning). The use of the Busuu application was effectively on the students listening achievement at MTs Al Huda Bandung.
