Abstract
Mathematical literacy ability is a person's ability to reason mathematically and to apply, formulate, interpret mathematics in various real-world contexts. included in the procedures, concepts, facts, and tools for describing, explaining and predicting phenomena. There are 6 levels of levels required by students in achieving mathematical literacy skills. The purpose of the study isto describe the mathematical literacy ability of students with high, medium, and low cognitive based on the cognitive realm of Bloom's Taxonomy revision in solving the problem of building a flat-sided space. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach, the research location was in MTsN 1 Tulungagung with 5 students from 32 students as samples. Data collection methods are observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study showed that.(1)M.A.Z.D ubieks with high cognitive ability were able to achieve a level of mathematical literacy ability at level 6, while E.A.R subjects with the same cognitive were at level 2.(2)A.A.M1 with moderate cognitive ability is able to reach the level of mathematical literacy ability is at level 6, while A.S.S subjects with the same cognitive are at level 3.(3)Subject V.R.T.P with low cognitive ability is able to achieve a level of mathematical literacy ability at level 4.
