Abstract

This study intends to describe the self-healing steps taken by students in class XI MIPA who have poor, medium, and high mathematical talents to solve circular problems. The research used an exploratory descriptive methodology in its qualitative approach. Mathematical connection ability exams, interviews, and documentation are employed as data collection methods. The subject is taken based on the class XI students' average score. Six students who had two students with poor abilities, two students with intermediate abilities, and two students with excellent abilities made up the research subjects. Data on mathematical connection abilities in solving mathematical issues was investigated using mathematical connection ability exams using circle material and interviews. In this study, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing were employed as data analysis strategies. The research into how students with low, medium, and high mathematical aptitudes approach completing circle problems in class XI MIPA pupils produced the following findings: (1) Self-healing techniques to help pupils with low skills overcome their limitations by forgetting what has happened and gaining peace of mind by doing something different without thinking about the things that had previously disturbed him. (2) Self-healing techniques to help pupils with average talents overcome their incapacity to focus on other tasks while still thinking about the things that had previously bothered him. (3) Due to the fact that the material is used for group talks while music is played as the discussion background, many students with high-level math skills combine self-healing from low-level and moderate-level abilities without expending excessive thought.
