Abstract

It has become a real thing about the development of technology in the form of modern games, so that traditional games are starting to be forgotten by children at the elementary level. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of board and engklek games in the experimental class as well as analyze the improvement of dynamic balance in traditional games in the control class. Quantitative methods are used to search for data through quasi-experimental design. The data obtained are derived from instrumental tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, anova tests and post-hoc tests. The research was conducted at TK Al Hidayah Plosokerep Kota Blitar from Januri to June 2022. The Research Sample totaled 40 early childhood. The result was the influence of the use of titian and engklek board games of 0.923>0.60 and 0.632>0.60 when played in the experimental class and there was no influence of increasing the dynamic balance after the post-hoc test by 0.000<0.05 in the control class. Conclusion after conducting the tukey test, namely the titian and engklek board games were able to affect the dynamic balance at the basic level by 0.879>0.05.
