Abstract

UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung is facing challenges in its archival management, particularly due to a shortage of human resources. This study aims to provide an analysis of archives management as a governance framework within the Administrasi Umum dan Perencanaan Keuangan of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, as well as identify the obstacles encountered. The research adopts a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection involves observation, interviews with one archivist and four archive users, as well as documentation. Purposeful sampling is used to select the informants. Data validity is ensured through the use of triangulation technique. The findings reveal that archive management at Administrasi Umum dan Perencanaan Keuangan UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung is functioning well, employing a decentralized approach where each faculty is responsible for receiving, recording, distributing, and issuing archives. The management of dynamic archives has successfully implemented a digital system called the Service Document Administration Information System (Si-TANDA), which significantly contributes to the efficiency of operations. Moving forward, UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung should prioritize the improvement of its human resources.
