The Implementation of Animated Film to Improve The Students’ Pronunciation Skill of 7th Grade at SMPN 01 Ngunut Tulungagung in Academic Year 2022/2023. Thesis, English Department. Key word : Pronunciation, ability, and animated film. Technology has become a highly essential aspect of daily life. Similarly, in the field of education, the use of technology may assist teachers explain knowledge to their students. The usage of visual media is one method that teachers can employ to pique student interest in learning at school. This study aims to improve the students’ pronunciaiton skill using animated film as learning media. The animated film used in this study is a cartoon designed to capture the attention of junior high school students. The CAR (Classroom Action Research) approach is used in this study. It is divided into four phases, they were planning phase, acting phase, observing phase, reflecting phase. In acting phase, there were 2 cycles, each cycle there were 3 meetings. The exercises included delivering PowerPoint presentations, recording learner production techniques, reading aloud, listening, and imitating. Those activities gave an improvement in the students’ pronunciation There were 36 students of SMPN 01 Ngunut Tulungagung involved in this research. Pre observation, observartion, and practice is used to monitor the improvement of student pronunciation. The study's findings suggested that animated film is could be succesful in enhancing students' pronunciation. This can be observed in the continuous growth in the number of students from class 7E who managed to pass the minimum mark set by the researcher, which began during the pre-observation phase, when only 5 students scored above the minimum mark. In cycle 1, the number of students went up to 16, and in cycle 2, there were 27 students. The fact that more than half of the students in class 7E exceeded the minimum value limit in cycle 2 showed that animated films could improve students' pronunciation skills. The research findings show that animated films could help students enhance their pronunciation skills. The findings suggested that English teachers should use appropriate media when teaching pronunciation. Animated films are a good media for teaching pronunciation
