Abstract

Interest in reading is a person's desire to obtain reading material. By reading someone can know the information and understand the meaning of reading. Along with the development of the all-digital era, bookstagrammer book fan accounts have emerged. This account in commonly referred to as bookstagrammer. With the emergence of bookstagrammer in Indonesia, it is hoped that interest in reading will continue to arise, especially in generation Z (the generation after millennials). The research is quantitative type. The technique of collecting data is by distributing questionnaires via direct massage to followers of booktagrammer @nebookreview. Sample of this research is 100 respondent from all total population of 221 thausand. The result showed a squared correlation of R Square of 0,236 with sig. 0.000 where sig < 0,05 so that the regression test stated that the attractiveness of bookstagrammers had an effect on reading interest. The data was tested for its validity using the validity test and reliability test with the help of SPSS. The F statistic test is 30,236 with sig. 0.000 where sig < 0.05 so that the regression test stated that the attractiveness of bookstagrammers had an effect on reading interest. The significance value of the bookstagrammer variable T test (X) 0.000 < 0.005 means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. tcount 5.499 > ttable 1.984 it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected which explains that there is an influence between variable X and variable Y.
