Abstract

The contemporary era of the Islamic world is marked by the enthusiasm to face a number of new problems both internally and externally. So that the various thoughts and movements of the Islamic world emerged to provide solutions to these problems. Islamic spirituality will also shift over time. The da'wah message conveyed by the da'i also influences changes in Islamic spirituality in the contemporary era. The purpose of this study is to find out what happens when contemporary preachers preach. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research approach. Along with advances in technology, da'wah is able to run in harmony with world developments. Da'i has many places to convey his da'wah to mad'u which is so universal. The involvement of social media also makes it very easy for mad'u to access da'wah material. However, it is this convenience that causes a decline in the spirituality of mad'u due to the fact that the message of da'wah is only partially absorbed.
