Keywords: correlation, attitude, English achievement Success or failure of a person runs a learning process relating to act. Attitude is one of affective factors contributing to the success of learning, including success in learning English. The attitudes seen as one of the acts that affect the learning process. Attitude related to learning because attitudes are internal factors that can affect learning. Doe to the importance of attitude in the success of learning, this study is aimed at finding of the correlation between attitude and achievement. The problem of this study is: “Is there any significant correlation between students’ attitude and their English achievement of the first grade at SMA Negeri 01 Rejotangan?”. Furthermore, the formulations of the research objective in this thesis is to know whether there is any significant correlation between students’ attitude and their English achievement for first grade at SMA Negeri 01 Rejotangan. This study uses correlational design with quantitative approach. The population in this research is the first grade of SMA Negeri 01 Rejotangan totaled 315 students. The number of sample is 63 students determine using simple random sampling system. Both variables were examined in this study is the independent variable that is attitude and achievement. The research instrument conducted through questionnaire and documentation. While method in data collection use distributing questionnaire and documentation. Technique of analysis data in this study by calculating correlation coefficient using Spearman Correlation Coefficient Technique through SPSS 16.0 for windows. The result of this study showed an average questionnaire students value is 73,0 and average of students English achievement is 60,5. Based on the analysis of data through calculating using Spearman correlation analysis by SPSS 16.0 for windows, the data indicated that the sig (2-tailed) value 0.000 is lower than level of significant (α) 1%, it means that there is positive value. Then the correlation coefficient 0.690 is higher than level of significant (α) 5%, means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and automatically the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It can be conclude that there is a significant correlation between students’ attitude and their English achievement at SMA Negeri 01 Rejotangan.
