Abstract

The development of community technology makes it easier to communicate using social media that can be accessed via the internet, one of which is Facebook. So that not a few people use Facebook social media as a product marketing communication medium. Exelle Shin is one of the names of an online shop account that uses the Facebook application as a medium of marketing communication for its products. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how to use Facebook as a marketing communication medium for a qualitative descriptive study on Exelle Shin's Facebook account. The writing of this research uses data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Facebook social media is very effective for product marketing. Because Facebook can help in the process of product promotion with a wide range, easily accessible by anyone and anywhere, has many features, besides that it can minimize the costs that must be incurred for promotional activities.
