Keyword: Educational Value, Movie, Moana This thesis analyzes a movie by Ron Clements, and John Musker entitled Moana. Moana is a teenager who has curiosity and is interested in exploring the sea. But Moana's wish was forbidden by her father for some reason. Moana is an adventurous film that tells how a little girl must return the heart of Te Fiti's Heart for the sake of what Maui has stolen. In this film, there are educational values that can be presented in the world of education and become an example that movies can be used as an easy and fun learning medium. In this research, researcher used a qualitative descriptive based on a library study. The researcher classified as library method because the data from library source. The researcher collected the data from many a variety sources such as articles, journals, thesis, and other refernces. method to analyze the educational value contained in the film Moana. The formulation of this research are: (1) What are the types of education values found in Moana movie (2) How was educational values presented in Moana movie . The purpose of this study is (1) To analyze the types educational value in Moana movie (2). To describe the educational value presented in Moana movie. The results of this study, researcher can show there are 27 educational values in the film Moana, namely four never give up it can be implicated that fromnever give up that we always get something challenging in our life, two self- confident it can be implicated that we look attractive attitude behavior and have positive aura, one friendly it means that friendly has a positive aura who always smiling with the people meet. two polite is attitude to respect with other people withcondition that are comfortable people. four love peace that express in gentle, calm words that do not cause conflict between other people. Two forgive that it means that to show someone empathy as a form of forgiveness for those who have hurt. three optimistic that we will believe and always believe that we can what are we doing will be good. Four help each other it means we help the people, one work hard is an activities carried out in earnest to get the results. Three responsibilities duty that someone has to assume and bear the consequence. That the researcher find all kinds educational value is relevant with the theory. That theory is classify value by Taylor (2006:4)
