Keywords : Teaching Listening, Voice Message, Blended Learning Listening skills are skills that are difficult for learners to master. One of the reasons why students have difficulty in listening is to identify the words and sentences that are listened to so that it leads to difficulty in capturing the meaning of the text as a whole. Usually in listening learning is in a calm atmosphere and focus so that students can more easily understand what is being listened to. Now, increasingly sophisticated technology can help learning and teaching activities, the WhatsApp application is an application used by educators for school activities in the new normal era during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the WhatsApp application feature, one of them has a voice message feature. This voice message can be used as learning to listen (listening) students. The formulation of the problem in this study is “Is there a significant difference in students’ listening skills before and after taught by using Voice Message on the WhatsApp Application for blended learning of the eight grade at MTs PSM Tanen Rejotangan?”. In addition, this study also aims to know the significant differences on students’ listening skill before and after taught by using Voice Message on the WhatsApp Application for blended learning of the eight grade at MTs PSM Tanen Rejotangan. This study used pre-experimental research design using one group of pre- test and post-test with a quantitative method. The population in this study was all eight grade at MTs PSM Tanen Rejotangan. The sample of this study is class VIII- B MTs PSM Tanen Rejotangan which amounts to 28 students. The instrument used in this study is a question test in the form of multiple choice. The results of this study showed that voice messages on the WhatsApp application were effectively used in listening teaching in the eighth grade of MTs PSM Tanen Rejotangan. This can be known from the average value. The ability to listen to students before being taught using voice messages on the WhatsApp application is 74. While the average student's score after being taught using voicemail on the WhatsApp application is 91.60. The results of the paired sample t-test show that the magnitude of the significance number is 0.00 where the number is from 0.05 so it can be concluded that the treatment is effective in improving students' listening skills.
