Keyword: Effectiveness, Teaching Vocabulary, Tell Me Five Game Vocabulary is a crucial aspect of language acquisition, particularly English. Insufficient proficiency in vocabulary affects the successful learning of the English language. To enhance students' vocabulary proficiency, it is necessary to employ captivating and creative instructional materials that prevent students from becoming inactive or disinterested, and instead, inspire them to actively enhance their vocabulary mastery. An effective method to facilitate vocabulary learning for students is the utilization of the Tell Me Five Game. The Tell Me Five game is an interactive activity typically used in educational settings to encourage participation and active learning. It involves spinning a random wheel and instructing students to identify five items that fit the categories derived from the wheel. This activity enhances communication, speaking, rapid thinking, and vocabulary development. With minimal props and setup, it's an excellent tool for teaching English as a second language. This research conducted to find out the significant difference score of the students' vocabulary mastery before and after being taught by "Tell Me Five Game”. The researcher used quantitative research method, especially pre-experimental research design by using pre-test and post-test as the method to collect data. This study chose the population at seventh grade students of MTsN 2 Blitar City and the sample was VII F students which total 34 students. The data results were analyzed using T-test formula with SPSS 27.0 Program to calculate the data. The result revealed that there was significance difference score of the students' vocabulary mastery before and after being taught by "Tell Me Five Game" of the seventh grade at MTsN 2 Blitar City. So, null hypothesis (Ho) was not accepted and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The data analysis showed that the average value between the pre-test and post-test is -16,471. It showed that there was different score after being taught using the Tell Me Five Game. The paired sample test revealed a highly significant (two-tailed) p-value of 0.000. As a result, this study was effective on seventh students' vocabulary mastery at MTsN 2 Blitar City.
