Anshori, M. I. Student Registered. 2024. Perception and Attitudes: How Students of Bhakti Mulia Pare Vocational School View Morning English Program in Language Learning. Thesis English Education Department. Magister Program. Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah State Islamic University of Tulungagung. Advisor: Dr. Ida Isnawati, M.Pd and Dr. Dwi Astuti W N,S.S.,M.P.d. Keywords: Perception, Attitudes, Morning English Program (MEP). Language learning is a fundamental aspect of education, and extracurricular activities play a significant role in enhancing students' language skillsis one of the language skills having an important role in teaching and learning process. As mentioned by Azoua (2020) and Khikmiah (2011) that there are several ways to enhance English proficiency, one of which is to join an English club, a program for students who want to learn and be more involved in English with their additional schoolmates outside class or extracurricular program. This study intended to portray the perception and attitudes of Students in Morning English Program activities. This study belonged to mixed-method approaches in which the quantitative and qualitative data were collected through questionnaire and interview. The population of this research was 720 and the researcher found 180 participants consist of the first and second grade of students who became members of the MEP in SMK Bhakti Mulia Pare in the 2023/2024 academic year. Data analysis carried out were collecting data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The results of research showed that participants perceive positively and have a positive attitude. The Morning English Program is an effective tool for students' learning and it can help enhance their learning through students' engagement in practicing English competence. The findings showed that most students responded positively on their motivation, emotion and experience in attending the Morning English Program. The findings also showed that students positively attitudes toward behavior, cognitive and emotional affective in Morning English Program activities. It means that after joining the Morning English Program, students felt that their English skills improved and had a positive impact on the learning process in class.
