Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Education. State Islamic University Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung.” Keywords: Effectiveness, HelloEnglishApplication, Grammar Grammar is one of the component of English because by studying grammar well, especially the tenses it can help them to be able to use English both oral and written. Students can learn about grammar by using smartphones. Now, technology really helps students when they learn grammar using the Hello Engkish App. The Hello English application to help them learn to make a good sentences. The Hello English application is media that can increase students English grammar can be used at any time. The formulation of the research problem: Is there any significant difference in student’s grammar between the students who are taught by using Hello English application at MTSN 2 Tulungagung? The objective of the research is to investigate of the effectiveness of using Hello English application tom teach students’ English grammar at the second grade of MTSN 2 Tulungagung. The purpose of this research is to know the significant difference in students’s grammar between the students who are taught by using hello English application and those who are not taught by using Hello English application at second grade of MTSN 2 Tulungagung. Research method: 1)Research design of this study was Quasi Experimental two group to experimental class and control class with the quantitative approach. 2)The population of this research is class VIII at MTSN 2 Tulungagung. 4)The variable of the research there are two independent and dependent, the independent variable of the research is using the Hello English applicat ion and the dependent variable of the research is the students’ grammar ability. 5)The instruments of this research with the test, namelypretest and posttest. 6)The data analysis was using SPSS 16 version to T-test. The finding showed that Hello English Application was effective to teach students’ English grammar second grade of MTSN 2 Tulungagung. The effectiveness of the Hello English application can be shown from different scores in student’s grammar between the students who are taught by using Hello English application at second grade of MTSN 2 Tulungagung in the following descriptions: The result of T-test with SPSS 16.00 for windows, it can be seen at the significant value was 0.000. It was lower than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). So, it means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) that states there is any significant difference in student’s grammar between the st udents who are taught by using Hello English application and those who are not taught by using Hello English application at second grade of MTSN 2 Tulungagung is accepted, while the null hypothesis (Ho) that states there no significant in student’s grammar between the students who are taught by using Hello English application and those who are not taught by using Hello English application at second grade of MTSN 2 Tulungagung in pandemic is rejected. So, Using Hello English application was effective in teaching grammar in the meaning at second grade of MTSN 2 Tulungagung.
