Abstract

ABSTRACT Ma'ruf Rizal, NIM. 17208153054, Effect of the Outdoor Study Method by Utilizing the Environment as a Learning Resource for the Motivation and Learning Outcomes Environmental Pollution in first grade of MTsN 4 Nganjuk. Environmental Pollution This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in environmental pollution material, this is because the teacher in delivering the material still used conventional method. Because the material related to the environment while the classroom cannot be used as a source of learning so students tend to be less active and easily appear bored. Therefore, need for a method and learning model that is appropriate for increasing learning motivation, when students 'learning motivation increases, the results of students' learning will automatically improve. With used an outdoor study method by utilizing the environment as a learning resource, it is expected to increase motivation and learning outcomes in the first grade students of MTsN 4 Nganjuk. The purpose of this study (1) To determine whether there is an influence of the outdoor study method by utilizing the environment as a learning resource for the motivation to learn environmental pollution in the first grade students of MTsN 4 Nganjuk. (2) To determine whether there is an influence of the outdoor study method by utilizing the environment as a learning resource for the environmental pollution learning outcomes in the first grade students of MTsN 4 Nganjuk. (3) To know whether there is an influence of the outdoor study method by utilizing the environment as a learning resource for motivation and learning outcomes of environmental pollution in the first grade of MTsN 4 Nganjuk. This study used a quantitative approach to the type of quasi experimental. The results showed that (1) there was a significant effect of the outdoor study method by utilizing the environment as a learning resource for students' learning motivation. This is the result of the t-test results obtained ttable 5% = 1.994 < tcount = 3.508 with significance = (0.001 < 0.05). (2) there is a significant effect of the outdoor study method by utilizing the environment as a learning resource for student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the t-test results obtained ttable 5% = 1.994 < tcount = 3.021 with significance = (0.004 < 0.05). (3) there is a significant effect of the outdoor study method by utilizing the environment as a learning resource for student motivation and learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the MANOVA test obtained pillae trace, wilk lamda, hotelling trace, roy's largest root values. The significance values of all 0.004 classes are smaller than 0.05 (0.004 < 0.05). That is, the price of F for the pillae trace, wilk lamda, hotelling trace, roy’s largest root ratio are all significant.
