Keywords: Listening Ability, Youtube Videos English is the international language used English is the international language used in the world. . English also plays a role in helping people in carrying out their activities, especially in communicating. To learn how to communicate in English properly; we need to know about the four skills. The four skills complement each other to make the use of English in students' daily lives better. Listening is one of the four basic competencies which is the ability to receive and interpret messages accurately in the communication process. Listening involves processing phonetic language information and constructing messages from the sound stream, based on the listener's syntactic, phonetic, and semantic knowledge of that language. YouTube is a video sharing service that allows users to watch videos posted by other users and upload their own videos. The service started as an independent website in 2005 and was acquired by Google in 2006. Videos that have been uploaded to YouTube may appear on the YouTube website and may be posted on other websites, even if the file is hosted on YouTube's servers. This study uses a quantitative approach by conducting an experimental design. The population in this study were all students of class IX SMP Negeri 3 Kedungwaru as many as 34 students consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research sample was 34 students. In conducting this research, data analysis procedures will be collected from the results of the pre-test, treatment and post-test. Statistical calculations on the pre-test scores of the experimental and control groups using SPSS 25 for windows showed that it was found that the arithmetic test (3.390) and t-table (3.065). In addition, the results in Pair 1, Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the average listening ability of students who are taught using YouTube videos on Procedure Text material and those taught using a conventional method. This means that H0 is rejected, while H1 is accepted that there is a significant effect of using Youtube videos on students' listening skills.
