Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi dengan judul “Upaya Guru dalam Pembentukan Karakter Siswa Religius melalui Kegiatan Keagamaan di MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung” ini ditulis oleh PUTERI AYU CHANDRA KIRANA, NIM. 12205173130, Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI), Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan, Universitas Islam Negeri Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung yang dibimbing Ibu Prof. Dr. Hj. Binti Maunah, M.Pd.I. Kata Kunci: Pembentukan Karakter Religius, Kegiatan Keagamaan Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena usia sekolah anak yang mempengaruhi proses pembentukan nilai- nilai agama. Kualitas keagamaan anak akan sangat dipengaruhi oleh proses pembentukan menjadi bukti kesadaran masyarakat dan para pendidik akan pentingnya pembentukan karakter pada peserta didik. Salah satunya adalah MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung. MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung merupakan lembaga pendidikan formal berbasis keagamaan dibawah naungan Lembaga Pendidikan Ma’arif NU Tulungagung. MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah ini merupakan salah satu madrasah swasta unggulan dengan akreditasi A (unggul). Adapun untuk mengetahui hal tersebut, peneliti merumuskan fokus penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana upaya guru dalam pembentukan karakter siswa religius sidiq, tabligh, amanah, fatonah melalui kegiatan sholat dhuha berjamaah di MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung?, (2) Bagaimana upaya guru dalam pembentukan karakter siswa religius sidiq, tabligh, amanah, fatonah melalui kegiatan membaca al-qur’an di MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung?, (3) Bagaimanakah faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter siswa religius melalui kegiatan keagamaan di MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung?. Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pembentukan karakter siswa religius melalui kegiatan sholat dhuha berjamaah, pembentukan karakter siswa religius melalui kegiatan membaca al-qur’an, dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini meliputi, 1) Person yaitu: (a) Kepala Madrasah, (b) Guru Kelas II, (c) Guru Kelas III, (d) Guru Kelas IV, (e) Guru Kelas V. 2) Paper yaitu: dokumentasi kegiatan pembentukan karakter. 3) Place yaitu di MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikanxix kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengecekan keabsahan data dengan triangulasi meliputi sumber, metode, dan ketekunan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pembentukan karakter siswa religius melalui kegiatan sholat dhuha berjamaah yaitu melatih kebaikan anak dalam menjalankan ibadah sunah, kegiatan sholat dhuha berjamaah melatih kedisiplinan dan ketaatan anak. (2) Pembentukan karakter siswa religius melalui kegiatan membaca al-qur’an yaitu dapat melatih daya ingat peserta didik, memiliki karakter yang percaya diri, dan menguasai di bidang keagamaandan strategi yang digunakan yaitu dengan mewajibkan dan pembiasaan. (3) aktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter siswa yaitu keluarga, lingkungan dan guru.xx ABSTRACT Thesis with the title "Teachers' Efforts in Forming the Character of Religious Students through Religious Activities at MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung" was written by PUTERI AYU CHANDRA KIRANA, NIM. 12205173130, Department of Teacher Education, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI), Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah State Islamic University Tulungagung, which was supervised by Prof. Dr. Hj. Binti Maunah, M.Pd.I. Keywords: Formation of Religious Character, Religious Activities This research is motivated by the phenomenon of school age children who affect the process of forming religious values. The religious quality of children will be greatly influenced by the formation process as evidence of public awareness and educators of the importance of character building in students. One of them is MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung. MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung is a religious-based formal educational institution under the auspices of the Ma'arif NU Tulungagung Educational Institution. MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah is one of the leading private madrasas with A (excellent) accreditation. As for knowing this, the researchers formulated the research focus as follows: (1) How are the teacher's efforts in shaping the character of religious students of sidiq, tabligh, amanah, fatonah through dhuha prayer activities in congregation at MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung?, (2) How are the teacher's efforts in forming the character of religious students sidiq, tabligh, amanah, fatonah through reading the Qur'an at MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung?, (3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in shaping the character of religious students through religious activities at MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan Tulungagung? ?. The purpose of the study was to describe the character formation of religious students through congregational dhuha prayer activities, the formation of religious students' character through reading the Qur'an, and supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of student character. This research uses a field study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data sources of this study include, 1) Person, namely: (a) Head of Madrasah, (b) Class II teacher, (c) Class III teacher, (d) Class IV teacher, (e) Class V teacher. 2) Paper, namely: documentation of character building activities. 3) Place is at MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Rejotangan. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification. This study uses checking the validity of the data by triangulation including sources, methods, and persistence of observations. The results showed that: (1) The formation of the character of religious students through dhuha prayer activities in congregation, namely training the goodness of children in carrying out sunnah worship, dhuha prayer activities in congregation training children's discipline and obedience. (2) The formation of the character of religious students through the activity of reading the Qur'an, which canxxi train students' memory, have a confident character, and master in the field of religion and the strategies used are by obliging and habituation. (3) supporting and inhibiting actors in the formation of student character, namely family, environment and teachers.
