The Influence of Using Flipped Classroom towards Students’ Reading Comprehension on Narrative Text at Tenth Grade of SMK Maarif NU Jatirejo Mojokerto. Thesis. English Education Department. Keywords: Flipped Classroom, Reading Comprehension, Narrative Text Educational opportunities in the flipped classroom are critical for regulation of learning. The flipped classroom expects students to indicate time to procuring comprehension and getting ready for learning in the classroom. Reading comprehension turns to earlier knowledge about the word. Flipped is utilized reading to decide kind disposition, expression, amusing, and earlier learning, the students might feel more inspired by the point and to assist conversation. Interest is the center of the aspect in reading. It tends to be known the number of the students’ knowledge. Indeed, it is the correct method for assisting students to develop their understanding. This research aims to make analyzing flipped classroom strategies for teaching learning, especially for for reading comprehension ability in students in the narrative text. The research design utilized quasi experimental that the treatment occuring in two gatherings of 2x45 minutes. The population of this study was SMK Maarif NU Jatirejo. The samples of this study were separated into two groups, X-TKJ-1 as the experiment class and X-BDP-1 as the control class. The researcher utilized Flipped Classroom strategy in this research. The experimental class comprises of 30 students and the control class comprise of 30 students. After validity test, the instrument of the pre-test was 30 questions and 30 questions for the post-test. The researcher utilized Independent Sample T-Test to examine the data. The consequence of the significant (2-tailed) statistic calculation of the Independent Sample T-Test using SPSS 26 revealed that the result of significant value was 0.006. It means that the result was less than significant level (0.006 ≤ 0.05). Significant value indicate that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. As a result, there was a significant impact of using the Flipped lassroom method on students’ competence in reading Comprehension in the tenth grade of SMK Maarif NU Jatirejo Mojokerto. The Flipped Classroom method can assist students develop their understanding abilities. In other words, the Flipped Classroom method can be utilized as an alternative method in teaching reading.
