Advisor: Dr. Nany Soengkono Madayani S.S, M.Pd Keywords: Online Learning, Learning Management, Covid-19 COVID-19 (coronavirus) is a virus that has spread throughout the world and has had a a substantial influence on all aspects of human life in every region. One of the aspects affected is education, in which governments around the world decided to close educational institutions and replace face to face learning with online learning and teaching in order to stop covid from spreading by reducing direct human interaction. Teachers must adjust to the new educational system. The purpose of this research is to discover how English teachers implement online learning and what activities teachers engage in to stimulate students to learn at SMK Sore Tulungagung. To address the issues, this study used qualitative study with this type of reseach case study. The data of this study are obtained through interviewed English teachers about how they implement online learning and what activities they use to engage students. This study also used class observation to collect comprehensive data and used document analysis. The analysis used was method of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana which analyzes in three steps: data condensation, data display and drawing conclusion. Inj order to check the credibility of the study, the reseracher used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The research revealed that the teacher conducted online learning activities in accordance with the learning design, which included opening, core, and closing activities. Despite the fact that the teacher did not provided motivation, linked to the previous lesson, and discussed homework during the opening activities. The teacher’s activities to stimulate students in learning online were gave a link of youtube video that related to the material, using many kind of learning media to get the student's focus and make the learning process not monotone, gave students a reward if they could get a good grades, provide reading link about a phenomenon that was being discussed before starting to explain the material.
