Keywords: Google Classroom, Perception, Learning Media The Covid 19 pandemic has caused changes in almost all aspects of life in the world community, including education, and of course Indonesia is no exception. The implementation of large-scale social restrictions by the Indonesian government has had an impact on the routines of society and students in the learning system. Distance learning by utilizing online applications such as Zoom, Google Classroom, Schoology, and so on is a solution for schools that are starting to implement school from home (SFH). One of them is at SMAN Durenan which uses Google Classroom as their learning media during the covid-19 pandemic. This reasearch is aimed at describing the students’ perception of Google Classroom as learning media during pandemic Covid-19 at SMAN 1 Durenan. This research generally answered the question How is students’ perception towards Googe Classroom as learning media during COVID-19 pandemic at SMAN 1 Durenan? Research method of this study was using used a descriptive quantitative approach with survey design. The population of this study was all of the eleventh grade science students of SMAN 1 Durenan in the academic year of 2021/2022. The sample of of this study was used purposive sampling technique and got XI sience 4 and XI science 5 which consist of 71 students. The data was collected through a questionaire. The researcher analyzed data by using SPSS 26 to find out the descriptive statistic such as frequency, percentage, and mean score. There were 71 students of eleventh-grade science at SMAN 1 Durenan participated in this research. The result of this research was presented descriptively in order to reveal the students’ perception. The result showed that students perceived Gooogle Classroom to be usefull in improving their independence, motivation in learn, self-discipline, and intearaction with other students and the teacher. Beside that students sometimes have a problem with internet connection, thus students have difficulty interacting with teachers and other students in a forum, with a slow internet connection it will greatly hamper the discussion forum
