Key words: Students’ Perception, Powtoon Media, Teach English Technology has become an important part of life in the age of globalization. The technology-based learning media is one of the essential media in the learning nowadays. Powtoon application is one of them that can apply by the teacher in conveying the material.As a result, the English teacher can also employ technology as a tool for teaching and learning English. Powtoon is one of the technologies used by the teacher in this case. Powtoon is an application that teachers may use to support their English teaching. Powtoon can be used on all levels of education, especially at the junior high school level, because Powtoon can attract students' attention and motivate them at the same time. As a result, the purpose of this research is to investigate students' perceptions on the use of Powtoon media in teaching English. The formulation of the research was “How is the students’ Perception on the Use of Powtoon Video in Teaching English MTs Aswaja Tunggangri?” This study used quantitative approach and the research design is survey. The population in this study was first grade students at MTs Aswaja Tunggangri. All population sampling of this research was class VII-A consisted of 13 students, VII-B consisted of 13 students, and VII-C consisted of 13 students. They were selected by using purposive sampling. The instrument was used questionnaire. The data collected through survey and they were analyzed using SPSS version 23. The result was so good atmosphere in teaching English using Powtoon as medium and also the researcher found the students’ perception that the students felt positively appropriate with the theory, they felt enjoy in learning English using Powtoon media. This can be shown through of Scala Likert. The mean score off all aspect of the questionnaire was 84.69. The questionnaire result 39 respondents showed high interpretation of using Powtoon video in teaching. In addition, the teaching English using Powtoon media was so excellent technique to increase students’ interest and students’ motivation in learning English.
