English Language Teaching Program. Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training. State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Tulungagung. Advisor: Dr. Dwi Astuti Wahyu Nurhayati, S.S.M.Pd. Keyword: Designing, Vocabulary, learning English This study tries to find the problem factors in learning English at PAUD Darul Ulum Rejotangan. This study discusses how stage design teachers English textbooks with vocabulary material for PAUD students. The formulation of the problems of this study are: 1) What steps were taken to design a teacher's manual for teaching English vocabulary at PAUD Darul Ulum Rejotangan? 2) How did the researcher design a teacher's manual for teaching English vocabulary at PAUD Darul Ulum Rejotangan? The aims of this study were: 1) To describe the design stages of a teacher's manual for teaching English vocabulary at PAUD Darul Ulum Rejotangan. 2) To describe the researcher made a teacher guide book design for teaching English vocabulary at PAUD Darul Ulum Rejotangan This research refers to the ADDIE Model which has been modified into Analysis, Design, and Development. The process of need analysis was done by using interview guideline which would be addressed to the teachers as main informant. Here the teachers could be interviewed regarding what teaching guidelines are in accordance with what they want. In addition, there were some documents, as syllabus and the existing material which would be analyzed to see the characteristic of students learning material. Process was continued by designing all the results of interviews and various data. Put together in a book that the teacher wants as a teaching guide.The guidebook that was developing material and creating lesson plan based on the syllabus and the material which had been created in the previous phase. The results of the research show that: 1) The author conducted a needs analysis to develop guidelines for teaching English in pre-school by conducting interviews with teachers in PAUD and analyzing several documents from Kindergarten which include syllabus, lesson plans, and existing materials. The author then analyzes the results of the interviews and analysis to make an inventory of the needs for English teaching guidelines developed in Pre-School. 2) The guidebook for teaching English for teachers is focused on teachers who teach English at the preschool level by recognizing students' characteristics, the correct way of teaching and what materials are appropriate to students' abilities so that validation learning outcomes from experts show that teaching English has been planned well for kindergarten level
