Keyword : Teaching Strategies, Speaking Anxiety In the learning process, the teacher needs a strategy to teach. This strategy helps a teacher to be able to carry out learning well and smoothly, especially for an English teacher to teach English skills such as speaking. However, in learning to speak, many students feel anxiety because they feel they have not been able to speak well, have not mastered the material, and still lack vocabulary or other problems. Therefore, a teacher needs a specific strategy to reduce speaking anxiety and make students able to speak well. The focus of this research is: 1) What are the strategies used in learning to reduce students' speaking anxiety in learning English at Kresna English Course Kampung Inggris? 2) How are the strategies implemented to reduce students' speaking anxiety in learning English at Kresna English Course Kampung Inggris? In this study, researcher used a qualitative descriptive research form. The data taken in the field is about strategies to reduce speaking anxiety and how to implement strategies to reduce speaking anxiety. The instruments used by the researcher were interviews with 2 English-speaking teachers and three students and observations made in the Basic English program class. From the results obtained by the researcher, the researcher found that the English-speaking teacher reduced speaking anxiety first by motivating students in each lesson to dare to speak well. Teachers use brainstorming strategies and games in learning Speaking. The application of this strategy makes students are indirectly express their opinions without any coercion. This study concludes that each teacher has a method or strategy to reduce students' speaking anxiety, including brainstorming strategies and games that make students feel unsaturated participating in learning activities because this strategy invites students to participate in speaking learning activities actively. So that students are trained to speak in front of the class and make students active in expressing opinions during games.
