ABSTRACT Dari, Putri Rahma Fadilla. Student Register Number 12203193122. 2023. Teacher’s Creativities In Developing and Spplying Teaching Media For Teaching Vocabulary In MTsN 2 Tulungagung. Sarjana Thesis. English Education Departement Faculty Tarbiyah and Teacher Training. State Islamic University Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Pembimbing : Dr. H. Nursamsu, S.Pd.I., M.Pd. Keywords : Creativity, Development and Application of Teaching Media, Vocabulary Teaching. Teachers need creativity as an effort to improve the learning process in schools. At MTsN 2 Tulungagung there are many English teachers who are very creative in developing media and have a large media collection. This is the reason that encouraged me to carry out teacher creativity. The objectives of this research are: 1) To know the teacher’s creativity in developing learning media at MTsN 2 Tulungagung. 2) To know the teacher’s creativity in applying teaching media to teach vocabulary at MTsN 2 Tulungagung. 3) To identify the benefits that teachers gain by using their media in teaching vocabulary. This research is a type of qualitative research with qualitative descriptive methods and was conducted at MTsN 2 Tulungagung. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data source in this research is the English teacher at MTsN 2 Tulungagung. The research results show that the creativity of T1 & T2 teachers in developing vocabulary learning media includes innovative planning, use of technology, and adaptation to student needs. T1 & T2 utilize a variety of resources, including images, videos, interactive games, and educational applications. In addition, they also combine learning content with practical activities to improve students' vocabulary understanding. The application of T1 & T2 vocabulary learning media shows a positive impact on students' learning motivation, active involvement and understanding of concepts. T1 & T2 also measure the success of learning media through formative evaluation and student responses. Although challenges in implementing technology in the classroom still exist, teacher creativity is the key to overcoming these obstacles. The advantages are that learning activities run smoothly, the use of media in teaching is clear, learning media is more fun and equipped with pictures, you don't feel bored with the media used, you feel happy with the media used, and the use of media makes learning easier.
