Advisor: Nuriyatul Hamidah M.Pd Keyword : Grammarly Application, Grammar Grammar is one of the key components of a language that plays an important role in enhancing the four skills in English: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. A lack of grammar proficiency causes students to struggle with communicating their ideas both verbally and in writing. Given the importance of grammar, it requires a teaching and learning process with suiTable media that engages student participation. The Grammarly application is an information technology-based medium that offers a relaxed and enjoyable environment that can support student learning. the research problem in this study is “ Is there any significant different score student grammar competent. that is taught by implementing grammarly App. and those who are taught by conventional method at the of MA Sunan Kalijogo Kediri?”. The aim of the reearch is This study is conducted to verify whether the use of the Grammarly application is effective or not in teaching students' grammar proficiency. Research method:1)The research model used in this study is a quasi�experimental design with a quantitative approach.2)The population in this study consists of Grade 10 Social Science students at MA Sunan Kalijogo Kediri.2)The sample in this study comprises 27 students from Grade 10 Social Science 2 and 26 students from Grade 10 Social Science 4, were selected using purposive sampling.3)The instrument used is a test.4)The data analysis method employed is the Independent Sample T-test. The study demonstrates that the Grammarly application effectively improves students' grammar proficiency. The experimental group, taught using Grammarly, had an average pre-test score of 79.08, which increased to 85.42 in the post-test, showing a 6.34-point improvement. In contrast, the control group, taught using conventional methods, showed a smaller increase from 79.96 to 82.19, a difference of 2.23 points. The t-test results at a 0.05 significance level revealed a significant difference between the post-test scores of the two groups (p < 0.05). Consequently, the null hypothesis, which proposed no significant difference, was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Thus, the study concludes that Grammarly is an effective tool for enhancing students' grammar skills at MA Sunan Kalijogo Kediri.
