Keywords: implementation, phonics video, pronunciation The Learning media is becoming increasingly diverse, allowing students to become more enthused about studying and comprehending the material. Phonics video is one of the media that can be used to help students' interest in the learning process at school especially for learning English pronunciation. Pronunciation is an important part of speech to know how a language or a particular word or sound is pronounced. Phonics video related to pronunciation allowed students to practice their pronunciation and know how we produce words or letters using our speech organs. This research aimed to address three research questions: 1) how to conduct steps of implementing phonics video in teaching English pronunciation? 2) what are the contributions of using phonics video in teaching English pronunciation? 3) what are the challenges that students perceived after learning English pronunciation using phonics video?. The research design in this study was descriptive qualitative. The population of this research was all the eighth grade students at SMPN 1 Ngunut. The sample was VIII-B class consisting of 37 students. The research instruments were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this research showed that the use of phonics videos in teaching English pronunciation provided significant benefits and presented some challenges. The implementation was carried out in a structured manner according to the curriculum, including preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Phonics videos helped students understand the relationship between letters and sounds, made the learning process more interesting and flexible, and clarified sound differences through animations and visualizations. Although students faced difficulties in remembering certain pronunciations, recognizing sound differences, and practicing correct pronunciation, the benefits gained from using phonics videos were much greater, helping students' understanding and motivation in learning English.
