Abstract

Rois, Mahmud. 2014. A Content Analysis of the English Workbook TALENTHA Used In Teaching English in Seventh Grade of Junior High School Academic Year 2013/2014. State Islamic Institute of Tulung Agung (IAIN). Thesis, Faculty of Education, English Department. Advisor : Faizatul Istiqomah, M.Ed Key word: Content Analysis, TALENTHA. Workbook is very important for supporting teaching English, so that workbook must link to the prevailing curriculum. TALENTHA is used in more than one school in Kota Trenggalek. Therefore, this study was conducted to know “The appropriateness between based competences and indicators stated in KTSP Curriculum and instructional material written in TALENTHA. The object of this study was the English workbook TALENTHA. The data was collected by documentation. The data was analyzed by analyzing the contents of workbook TALENTHA to know about the appropriateness between KTSP Curriculum and instructional material in TALENTHA. The finding and discussion of the research showed that workbook TALENTHA is Fair Appropriate to KTSP Curriculum by showing score : 30
