However, many Indonesian students, including those from English education programs, struggle with reading comprehension due to limited vocabulary, lack of exposure, and inadequate reading strategies that make them often rely on using online translation applications like U-Dictionary for quick translations. This research is aimed at finding out the correlation between students’ frequency on using U-dictionary application and their inferential reading comprehension. This research is quantitative research which uses correlational technique design. The sample of this research was selected by random sampling of fifth semester in English Education Department, especially C class with 43 students. The instruments used in this research are questionnaire for finding students’ frequency on using U-dictionary application and document that showing the students’ score on their Inferential Reading Comprehension course at fifth semester of the academic year 2023/2024. 10 multiple choice questions in the form of Likert scale were used in the questionnaire, while the document was taken from the students’ score from their inferential reading comprehension course. The results of the research show that students’ frequency on using U-dictionary application and their inferential reading comprehension is low. Those things have been proved by the mean scale 3 for students’ frequency on using U-dictionary application and 89,2 for Inferential Reading Comprehension. In this study the correlation score is 0.143 and the Pvalue is 0,269. Therefore, the conclusion to be drawn in this study is there is no correlation between students’ frequency on using U-dictionary application and their inferential reading comprehension in C class of fifth semester at English Education Department of UINSATU Tulungagung 2023.
