Keywords: Comparative Analysis, Figurative Language, Song lyrics, Blackpink Language is one of the important things in human existence, and figurative language is a style of language used to convey the literal meaning of words or sentences. This style of language generally found in literary works such as novels, poems, or song lyrics. Meanwhile a comparative analysis is a method used to understand the differences and similarities in the text or sentences being compared to find out the result. This research aims to analyze the comparison of the types and implicit meanings of figurative language contained in the lyrics of Blackpink songs from the Born Pink Album in the Korean and English versions. The researcher chose Blackpink songs to discuss because this girl band's songs have become a phenomenon in all around the world. Apart from that, Blackpink uses figurative language to convey the implicit meaning of the lyrics of their songs, therefore this research was used to see the comparison of the types and implicit meanings in the lyrics of selected Blackpink songs in the Korean and English versions.The research problems of this research are: 1) What is the comparison between the types of Korean and English figurative language on the album ''Born Pink''? and 2) What is the comparison between the implied meanings of Korean and English figurative language on the album ''Born Pink''? Meanwhile, the objectives of this research are: 1) To find out the comparison of Korean and English types of figurative language in the album ''Born Pink" and 2) To find out the comparison of the implied meaning of Korean and English figurative language on the album ''Born Pink''.This research was designed as a library research. The researcher used qualitative as an approach for this research. The data used in this research are the lyrics of selected Blackpink songs. The instrument used in this research was the researcher herself. In collecting data, the researcher used documentation techniques. Moreover, in analyzing the data in this research, the researcher used Miles & Huberman (2014), content analysis, namely data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To verify the data, the researcher used theoretical triangulation and source triangulation to check the trustworthiness of the data. The results of this research show 8 similarities in the use of figurative language types in the Korean and English versions of the lyrics, namely 6 similes, 6 metaphors, 11 personifications, 2 synecdoche, 9 paradoxes, 18 symbols, 2 allegories, and 9 hyperboles. In terms of implicit meaning, the two versions of the lyrics also have similarities in the meaning implicit of the figurative language used in each lyric.
