أزكى زلفي نور حميدة. ٢٠٢٤.علم النفس الإنساني للشخصية الرئيسية في رواية "الشحاذ" لنجيب محفوظ (دراسة نظرية أبراهام ماسلو). قسم اللغة العربية وآدابها.كلية أصول الدين والآداب والدعوة. جامعة السيد علي رحمة الله الإسلامية الحكومية تولونج أجونج. المشرف : أربي موليا سيرائيت الماجستير. الكلمة المفتاحية : نجيب محفوظ, علم اللغة النفس, التدرج الحاجات لأبراهام ماسلو الخلفية وراء هذا البحث هو فشل عمر(شخصية الرئيسية في رواية "الشحاذ") في العثور على السعادة. يهدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة أسباب فشل عمر في العثور على السعادة من خلال تصنيف حاجات عمر الأساسية أولاً باستخدام نظرية التدرج الحاجات لأبراهام ماسلو. ثم يتم تتطور نتائج التصنيف لمعرفة خلفية ونتائج إشباع الحاجات الأساسية على الحالة النفسية لعمر. علم النفسي لالشخصيات. مصدر البيانات لهذا البحث هو رواية "الشحاذ" لنجيب محفوظ وبعض الأدبيات المتعلقة بعلم اللغة النفس أبراهام ماسلو. تم جمع البيانات المستخدمة في هذا البحث عن طريق دراسة الأدبيات. وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام طريقة التفسير النفسي. وكانت نتيجة هذه الدراسة أن هناك ثلاث حاجات أساسية استطاع عمر إشبا عها وهي الحاجات الفسيولوجية، والحاجات الأمنية، وحاجات تقدير الذات. بينما هناك حاجتان لم يتمكن عمر من تلبيتهما، وهما حاجة الحب وحاجة التحقق من الذات. ويرجع عدم إشباع هاتين الحاجتين إلى عدم قدرة عمر على التمييز بين الحب والشهوة. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، أدى عدم إشباع هذه الحاجات إلى حاجات عصابية تمثلت في إشباعها وإراحتها من أشياء خارجة عن عمر مثل زيارة الملاهي الليلية وملاعبته للنساء والسكر. This study aims to find out the causes of 'Umar's failure to find happiness by first classifying 'Umar's basic needs using the hierarchy of needs theory initiated by Abraham Maslow. The results of the classification will be developed to find out how the background and consequences of the effect of fulfilling basic needs on 'Umar's mental health. This research is a qualitative research using the characterization psychology approach to solve the problem being researched. The data sources for this research are the novel as-Syahhadz by Najib Mahfuz and several relevant literature on Abraham Maslow's Humanistic Psychology theory. The data for this research were collected through literature review. These data were analyzed using psychological interpretation techniques. The results of this research indicate that there are three basic needs fulfilled by ‘Umar, including physiological needs, safety needs, and self-esteem needs. Meanwhile, there are two needs that ‘Umar cannot fulfill, namely the needs for love and self-actualization. The lack of fulfillment of these two needs is caused by ‘Umar's inability to distinguish between love and desire. As a result of the insufficient fulfillment of these needs, ‘Umar feels frustrated. Furthermore, the lack of fulfillment of these needs leads to neurotic needs, manifested as satisfaction and relief from things outside of ‘Umar, such as visiting nightclubs, engaging with women, and getting drunk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu penyebab dari kegagalan ‘Umar dalam mencari kebahagiaan dengan terlebih dahulu mengklasifikasikan kebutuhan – kebutuhan pokok ‘Umar menggunakan teori hierarchy of needs yang digagas oleh Abraham Maslow. Hasil klasifikasi tersebut akan dikembangkan untuk mengetahui bagaimana latar belakang serta akibat dari pengaruh pemenuhan kebutuhan-kebutuhan pokok terhadap kesehatan kejiwaan ‘Umar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi penokohan untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang dikaji. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah novel as-Syahhaz karya Najib Mahfuz dan beberapa pustaka terkait teori Psikologi Humanisme Abraham Maslow. Data-data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan cara studi literatur.Data-data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan teknik interpretasi psikologi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat tiga kebutuhan pokok yang dipenuhi ‘Umar diantaranya, kebutuhan fisiologi, kebutuhan rasa aman, dan kebutuhan harga diri. Sedangkan kebutuhan yang tidak dapat ‘Umar penuhi berjumlah dua kebutuhan yaitu kebutuhan cinta dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri. Kurangnya pemenuhan terhadap dua kebutuhan tersebut disebabkan oleh ketidak mampuan ‘Umar dalam membedakan antara cinta dan nafsu. ‘Akibat dari kurangnya pemenuhan kebutuhan tersebut ‘Umar merasakan frustasi . Selain itu kekurangan pemenuhan kebutuhan tersebut menimbulkan kebutuhan neurotik, berupa kepuasan dan kelegaan hati terhadap hal-hal yang berada diluar diri ‘Umar,seperti menyambangi club malam, bermain wanita, dan mabuk-mabukan.
