Faculty of Education and Teacher Training. Universitas Islam Negeri Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Advisor: Prof. Dr. Erna Iftanti, S.S., M.Pd. Keywords:Teacher perspective, Digital literacy, Reading teaching Along with the rapid development of digital technology, digital literacy has become a crucial competency in the world of education, especially in English language learning. This qualitative study aims to investigate the perceptions of English teachers at MTsN 4 Nganjuk regarding digital literacy in the context of reading instruction. The background of the problem indicates that although the importance of digital literacy is increasingly recognized, its implementation still faces various challenges, particularly in the madrasah environment. Teachers' perceptions, as the main agents of change, are vital for the successful integration of technology in learning. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews and observations to explore teachers' understanding of digital literacy, their experiences in integrating it into reading instruction, and their views on the effectiveness and challenges encountered. The results of the study are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the real conditions in the field and contribute to educational institutions, policymakers, and teacher training providers to design programs that are more relevant and aligned with needs. These findings will serve as an important foundation for supporting the development of educators who are not only digitally competent but also capable of designing innovative and contextual learning to improve the quality of education.
