Supriadi, Khairun Nisa. NIM 126203211040. 2025. The Effectiveness of Using Threads in X Application on Students’ Vocabulary Mastery of the Tenth Grade at MAN 1 Tulungagung. Faculty of Teacher Education and Training. State Islamic University Sayyid Alli Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Advisor: Dr. Arina Shofiya, M.Pd. Keywords: Vocabulary Mastery, X Application, Threads in X Application. This research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using Threads in X Application on students’ vocabulary mastery. The research sample consisted of 36 students from class X A.25L at MAN 1 Tulungagung. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design. The instruments used were pre-tests and post-tests, each consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions. Both tests contained word meanings, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion based on simple past tense grammar, and word grouping based on parts of speech. The research data were analyzed using SPSS version 25.0 with the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that the mean pre-test score was 46.89, while the mean post-test score increased to 82.67. The Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000, which was less than 0.05. The statistical computation showed that the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected, indicating that there was a significant difference in students’ vocabulary mastery before and after being taught using Threads in X Application. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of Threads in X Application on students vocabulary mastery of the tenth grade at MAN 1 Tulungagung is effectiveIn addition, the use of Threads also had positive impacts, making the learning process more engaging, enjoyable, and aligned with modern trends. Therefore, teachers are recommended to use Threads as authentic materials in teaching, students can be inspired to learn and enrich their vocabulary by utilizing Threads in X Application, and future researchers can develop similar studies with larger samples or focus on other language skills.
