Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Good Governance in the government of Kampung Empang Pandan, Koto Gasib District, Siak Regency and also to find out what factors hinder the implementation of Good Governance in the village government. The research method used is qualitative research, with the data collection technique is triangulation including interviews, documentation and observation. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique uses descriptive data analysis with data reduction models, data presentation and conclusions drawn by Miles and Huberman. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results obtained from this study indicate that the Empang Pandan Village Government has implemented the main principles of Good Governance, namely, Accountability, Transparency and Participation in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2014. Several inhibiting factors in the implementation of good governance are delays in funding and external problems with agencies. related to the implementation of good governance Keywords: Good Governance, Village Government, Transparency, Participation, Accountability
