English Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah University of Tulungagung. Advisor Nany Soengkono Madayani, S.S., M.Pd. Keywords: Moral value, Movie. Moral values are very important to be taught from an early age because moral values can be a guide for them to carry themselves in social life. Learning moral values is able to bring positive values to a person, movie can be the one of sources that can be used to teach someone about moral values. Moral values can bring benefit for people who watch the movie cause it contains on the storyline of the movie. The research problems in thie research were: 1) What types of moral values are found in “The Green Mile Movie?” 2) How are the moral values reflected in “The Green Mile” movie? The purpose of the research were 1) To analyze the moral values found in “The Green Mile” movie, 2) To know the moral values reflected in “The Green Mile” movie. In this study the writer used descriptive method with a qualitative approach to achive the goal. The data were analysed based on the moral value in the green mile movie. To get the data and answer the research question, the writer used the documentation and observation method in collecting the data. The result of this study there are some of moral values found in this movie, there are; honesty, courage, self discipline and moderation, loyalty, respect, love, kindness and friendliness, justice and mercy. This research are expected to give some contribution to further study related to moral values, and it is hoped that this result of the research will disseminate additional information to the students or readers in reading literary texts, including watching the movie.
