Abstract

Education is dynamic. Changes need to be handled properly so as not to cause stress, both stress on educators, education staff, students, and parents of students. This study aims to determine organizational changes and stress management that occur in educational institutions providing inclusive services. This research uses a qualitative case study approach and was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Tulungagung. The stress management data were obtained from interviews with the Principal, inclusive Special Advisory Teachers (GPK), and observations during the research process. This research shows that as an educational institution providing inclusive services, SD Muhammadiyah 1 Tulungagung has changed from time to time. These changes cause stress but can be managed properly. Stress management is carried out by means of prevention and control. Stress prevention is carried out at the beginning of the school year by involving psychologists in Acceptance of New Students activities and organizing training/workshop activities that direct teachers in the preparation of learning tools. Meanwhile, stress relief during the learning process is carried out by holding fun activities such as outdoor learning, outbound, parenting with psychologists, implementation of learning adapted to the conditions of the school and students, self-awareness that the conditions of students are indeed different from other normal students.
