Dosen Pembimbing Dr. Sukarsono, M.Pd. Keyword: Movie, Educational Value, Listening, Speaking Movies are a form of multimedia that combines visual and auditory elements to tell stories and convey messages. They offer a dynamic and engaging medium for learning, especially in language education. Using movies in the classroom can help improve students’ listening, speaking, and comprehension skills by exposing them to authentic language use and cultural contexts. This study aims to analyze the educational values present in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and explore how these values can be used to enhance English teaching methods for educators. By incorporating the film into lessons, teachers can create a more engaging and interactive learning environment that appeals to students. The research employed a qualitative approach, specifically using a literature review method. Primary data were collected by observing and transcribing character dialogues and scenes from the movie. The analysis was grounded in the 18 educational values proposed by the Ministry of Education and Culture (KEMENDIKBUD). These values serve as a framework for identifying the moral and educational lessons embedded in the film’s narrative and character development. The findings reveal that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 contains 13 of the 18 educational values, which include honesty, discipline, curiosity, love for the homeland, responsibility, environmental concern, love of peace, friendliness, appreciation of achievements, creativity, hard work, independence, and social care. In conclusion, this study suggests that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 can be effectively used as a medium to introduce educational values within English lessons. By doing so, educators can provide students with an enjoyable learning experience that also nurtures their creativity and moral development. The researcher hopes that this approach will inspire teachers to explore more innovative ways to integrate films and other multimedia into their teaching practices.
