Advisor Dr.Muh.Basuni,M.Pd Keywords : Implementation, Reading Aloud, Pronunciation Reading aloud is one of the most important things teachers can do with their students. Reading aloud builds many important foundational skills, introduces vocabulary, provides a model of fluent, expressive reading, and helps children recognize what reading for pleasure is all about. Reading aloud is widely used in first-language teaching at the initial stages of reading programmed in order to help children match sounds with the symbols of written language; either by combining the sounds of single letters or letter clusters, or decoding the whole word, the learners may be able to pronounce words correctly while reading aloud. The formulation of the research problem in this study is: Whether students were less Effectiveness to learn pronunciation and Whether students not able to pronounce words correctly. The objective of this research is to know whether there was a positive influence of reading aloud technique towards students’ pronunciation at the eighth grade of SMP Islam Gusdur. The purpose of this study was to know reading aloud technique could be teach students pronunciation ability toward Eight Grade in SMP Islam Gusdur Tuban. Research method of this study was using qualitative research design, especially in descriptive qualitative. The population in this study was in Eight Grade. The sample in this study were the students of Eight Grade consists 11 students. Research instrument of this study administering from the observation, interview and documentation to analyze reading aloud technique could be teach in pronunciation or not. From deep discussion reading aloud technique could be teach in teaching pronunciation. Based on the result of the observation, interview and documentation, it was found that reading aloud technique could be teach in teaching pronunciation ability. Those strategy have some effect for teaching pronunciation. Based on the finding it is suggested for the teacher to use reading aloud technique in teaching pronunciation at Eight Grade in SMP Islam Tuban.
