Abstract

The components that form the structure of the community, including the dimensions of religion, culture and national politics, have rarely received attention. This has an impact on the pattern of life in a society that is easily provoked and divided. Therefore, the role of da'i in the current era is not only limited to spreading the teachings of Islam. Da'i must take an active role in the realization of a community environment that upholds religious and socio-national values. The researcher integrates the philosophical values of khittah an-nahdliyyah with the da'wah strategy carried out by da'wah activists in Mojokerto. The results of the study are expected to be able to provide guidelines in the formulation of innovative, adaptive da'wah strategies, and pay attention to religious and socio-national values. The problem formulations in this study are as follows: 1) How is the form of aswaja an-nahdliyah principles contained in the strategy of delivering Islamic teachings in Mojokerto? 2) How is the implication of da'wah strategy carried out by da'i aswaja an-nahdliyah in Mojokerto?. While this study aims to 1) know and analyze the form of aswaja an-nahdliyah da'wah principles contained in the strategy of delivering Islamic teachings in Mojokerto, 2) know and analyze the implications related to the strategy of delivering Islamic teachings in Mojokerto. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a da'wah ethnography approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Hubberman's updated theory, including data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of data in this study through an extension of research time, increasing concentration on research, and triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that 1) the da'wah strategy carried out by aswaja an-nahdliyah da'i in Mojokerto has continuity with the basic foundation or khittah an-nahdliyyah in building community character, religious character, ulama' character, and political character. The results of the analysis of the da'i's da'wah strategy in Mojokerto using the concept of khittah an-nahdliyyah resulted in the formulation of da'wah principles that can be used by ulama', kiai, and da'i in the archipelago to develop innovative, adaptive da'wah strategies and maintain continuity between Islamic and socio-national dimensions. 2) the implications of da'wah strategies based on the principles of aswaja an-nahdliyah can more easily embrace and adapt to the community environment because they are developed through the culture of local wisdom in the environment. The aswaja an-nahdliyah da'wah strategy also focuses on developing community character, so as to increase productivity, creativity and the quality of community resources.
