ABSTRACT Qurbayati, Khusunu. Student Registered Number. 17203153079. 2019. Student’s Problem in Daily English Speaking Activity at MA Terpadu Al – Anwar Baruharjo Durenan Trenggalek. Sarjana Thesis. English Education Department. Faculty of Tarbiah and Teacher Training. State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Tulungagung. Advisor. Dr. Sukarsono, M. Pd. Keywords: Problems in daily English speaking Activity Students need habits and scope that support them to master English. The habit here is, speaking habits that require students to speak English every day wherever and whenever. But the system and plan are not as easy as imagined. In fact, there are small and large problems that change the plans and system that have been made so that they are fluent in English. Especially for new students who really need adjustment. They will have difficulties in the speech and psychological components. The formulation of the research problem were: 1) What are the student’s problems in daily English speaking activity at MA Terpadu Al-Anwar Baruharjo Durenan Trenggalek?. 2) What are the student’s psychological problems in daily English speaking activity at MA Terpadu Al-Anwar Baruharjo Durenan Trenggalek?. 3) How is the teacher overcome the student’s problems in daily English speaking activity at MA Terpadu Al Anwar Baruharjo, Durenan, Trenggalek?. The purpose of this research were: 1) To describe student’s problems in daily English speaking activity at MA Terpadu Al-Anwar Baruharjo Durenan Trenggalek. 2) To know the student’s psychological problems in daily English speaking activity at MA Terpadu Al Anwar Baruharjo Durenan Trenggalek. 3) To know the teacher overcome student’s problems in daily English speaking activity at MA Terpadu Al Anwar Baruharjo Durenan Trenggalek. The research method: 1) The research design of this study was descriptive design with qualitative approach, 2) The subject of the study was students and teacher as supervisor English Program, 3) The method of collecting data was observation, interview, and documentation, 4) Technique of verification was method triangulation and sources triangulation, 5) Technique of data analysis was data reductions, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result of this research showed that students had many problem in daily English speaking activity, particularly in vocabulary, students often forget the vocabulary when they will speaking. They are need vocabulary, because they are the first grade. Then there are problems in pronunciation, students must be habit to speak English so the pronunciation is good and clear. Then the problems in grammar are also very important for them. If there is no grammar, there is amisunderstanding when they talk to each other. There are psychological problems that affect it. Sometimes parents, teachers and children have the same goal but with different ways to pursue that goal. These differences make them misunderstand each other. Then the problems they face a rise, and the main goal of the problem is a child. Many reasons that make them have this problem. The hardest when they face psychological affects all activities caused by the brain and body. If their psychological is not balanced, then the planned process that had been planned would not succeed. So the teacher must continue to motivate and support the development of their language.
