Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian dalam skripsi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sebuah fenomena bahwa keikutsertaan siswa dalam bimbingan belajar di luar sekolah dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Dalam hal ini peneliti menghubungkan bimbingan belajar dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Ngantru. Rumusan masalah dalam skripsi ini adalah: (1) Apakah ada pengaruh bimbingan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada Materi Menghitung Luas Permukaan dan Volume Kubus, Balok, Prisma, dan Limas di Kelas VIII MTs Negeri Ngantru?, (2) Seberapa besar pengaruh bimbingan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada Materi Menghitung Luas Permukaan dan Volume Kubus, Balok, Prisma, dan Limas di Kelas VIII MTs Negeri Ngantru?. Tujuan penelitian dalam hal ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada Materi Menghitung Luas Permukaan dan Volume Kubus, Balok, Prisma, dan Limas di Kelas VIII MTs Negeri Ngantru, (2) Untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh bimbingan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada Materi Menghitung Luas Permukaan dan Volume Kubus, Balok, Prisma, dan Limas di Kelas VIII MTs Negeri Ngantru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian ex-post facto. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode interview (wawancara), tes, dan dokumentasi. Metode interview digunakan untuk mengetahui keikutsertaan siswa dalam bimbingan belajar di luar sekolah. Tes digunakan untuk untuk memperoleh data tentang hasil belajar matematika. Sedangkan metode dokumentasi digunakan untuk menggali data tentang nilai matematika serta data-data lain yang mendukung penelitian. Setelah penulis mengadakan penelitian dengan menggunakan beberapa metode di atas, penulis menggunakan rumus t-tes. Setelah data dianalisis, akhirnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan hasil belajar terhadap bimbingan belajar matematika siswa pada Materi Menghitung Luas Permukaan dan Volume Kubus, Balok, Prisma, dan Limas di Kelas VIII MTs Negeri Ngantru. Hasil hitung, baik secara manual maupun dengan bantuan SPSS 18.0 pada taraf signifikansinya 5% menunjukkan bahwa nilai t_hitung>t_tabel, hasil hitung manual t_hitung (7,9817446)>t_tabel (2,024), sedangkan hasil hitung dengan SPSS 18.0 t_hitung (8,196)>t_tabel (2,024). Dengan demikian, hipotesis nol ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif diterima. Besarnya pengaruh bimbingan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa adalah sebesar 82%. Sedangkan 18% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain selain bimbingan belajar. In this case the researchers linking tutoring with math learning outcomes of students of class VIII State Junior High School MTsN Ngantru. The problems of this thesis are: (1). Is there any influence of tutoring to students' mathematics learning outcomes in a Surface Area and Volume calculate Cube , Beams , Prisms , and Lim material in class VIII State Junior High School MTsN Ngantru? (2). How big is the influence of tutoring to students' mathematics learning outcomes in a Surface Area and Volume calculate Cube , Beams , Prisms , and Lim material in class VIII State Junior High School MTsN Ngantru? The research objective in this case is (1) To determine the influence of tutoring to students' mathematics learning outcomes in a Surface Area and Volume calculate Cube , Beams , Prisms , and Lim material in class VIII State Junior High School MTsN Ngantru. (2) To know how big the influence of tutoring to students' mathematics learning outcomes in a Surface Area and Volume calculate Cube , Beams , Prisms , and Lim material in class VIII State Junior High School MTsN Ngantru. This study used quantitative approach and type of ex-post facto research. This study also used the interview method, testing, documentation, and observation. Interview method is used to determine student participation in tutoring outside of school. The test is used to obtain data on outcomes for mathematics learning. While the documentation and observation methods used to collect data on the value of mathematics as well as other data that support the research. After the author conducted research using some of the above methods, the authors use the formula t-test. Once the data is analyzed, finally it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect on the learning outcomes tutoring math students on the Surface Area and Volume calculate Cube , Beams , Prisms , and Lim material in class VIII State Junior High School MTsN Ngantru. Results count, either manually or with the help of SPSS 18.0 on the level of significance of 5% indicates that the value t count > t tabel, the results of the manual count t count (7,9817446) > t tabel (2,024), while the results calculated with SPSS 18.0 tcount (8,196) > t tabel (2,024 ). Thus, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The magnitude of the influence of tutoring on student learning outcomes in mathematics was 82%.
